It is time for our Cowboys players and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders to make their annual hospital visits. Here are 5 things to know about this special tradition to raise your holiday spirits!

01.

4 Hospitals. 1 Day.

Both Cowboys players and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders divide up between 4 local children’s hospitals: Children’s Health, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, Medical City Children’s and Cook Children’s.

02.

800 Children.

Each year, hospital visits touch the lives of 800 children in need of a little holiday cheer.

03.

29 years.

Hospital visits are an annual tradition and this visit is the 29th year of this highly anticipated event.

04.

Stockings.

On the day of the visit, each child receives their own “game sock” loaded with goodies and toys from the Dallas Cowboys.

05.

A Familiar Face.

Kyle Rothlisberger, part of our IT department, was a patient at Children’s Medical City when the Cowboys visited, 16 years ago! You can read more on that story here.
