For a limited time only, Dallas Cowboys Pro Shops are selling The Next 88 t-shirts, proceeds of which benefit The Salvation Army.
Dez Bryant – the current holder of the Cowboys’ special and historic 88 jersey number – grew up receiving assistance from The Salvation Army, eating meals there regularly with his brothers and sisters. Now having achieved such great success as a Cowboy, Dez continues to have a heart for The Salvation Army, particularly Salvation Army children, encouraging them that they, too, could be “the next 88.”
Dez Bryant participates in The Salvation Army’s holiday Red Kettle Campaign, sharing his #RedKettleReason for supporting the fundraiser – “Because everyone deserves food, warmth and shelter during the holiday season” – on social media.
The Next 88 t-shirts are being sold in both youth and adult sizes online and in-store. Check out The Cowboys Pro Shop to get yours and to honor what The Salvation Army has done to impact the life of Dez Bryant and millions of others in need.
